DFW representative signs with top women’s only MMA organization in the world

DALLAS, TX – In case you missed the big news last week, DFW-based atomweight Jinh Yu Frey has signed with the Invicta Fighting Championships. The move comes after a successful 2013 campaign that saw Jinh win her first two fights as a pro after going 4-2 as an amateur. The latest, a KO win over Darla Harris at Sugar Creek Showdown 18, netted her plenty of national attention. She gained plenty of recognition statewide as well, winning the 2013 TXMMA Awards for ‘Knockout of the Year’ and ‘Rookie of the Year.’

Following the release of the news, Jinh Yu Frey sounded off on her Facebook Page:

“Thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes. I could not have made it this far without my team at Mohlers MMA. So many people there devote so much of their time into my development as a fighter. Thanks to my husband and his unceasing belief in my abilities, and to God, who has showered me with countless blessings. And lastly, thanks to Invicta Fighting Championships for giving me the opportunity to shine.”

Jinh will now join a loaded Invicta FC roster at atomweight that includes current champion Michelle Waterson along with contenders such as Jessica Penne, Stephanie Frausto, and Amber Brown.
