DFW-Based Women’s MMA Atomweight Stays Undefeated With Second Win As a Pro

DALLAS, TX, July 29, 2013 – Local area women’s MMA rep Jinh Yu Frey (Mohler’s MMA) moved to 2-0 in her pro career this past weekend by virtue of a knockout of the night performance at the Sugar Creek Showdown – Declaration of Pain event held at the Sugar Creek Casino in Hinton, OK.

Competing as usual at atomweight (95-105 lbs.) on the SCS #18 card, Jinh Yu Frey took on an experienced opponent in Darla “Train Wreck” Harris (3-3). Fight out of Pariah MMA in Colorado Springs, CO, Darla won her first three fights as a pro before losses in her next two bouts before this one. As it turns out, her third loss in a row hit her the hardest, quite literally.

Setting things up right from the opening bell, it took Jinh less than a round to score the big knockout on her opponent with a beautiful combo punctuated by a left high kick and straight left to end the fight in devastating fashion.

With this victory, Jinh Yu Frey stays undefeated as a pro fighter at 2-0 and also allowed her to defend her SCS belt – the first title of her young career.

No word yet on what is next for the 28 year old Arlington resident but with her exciting style coupled with the burgeoning popularity of women’s mixed martial arts and all-pro women’s MMA league Invicta Fighting Championship it wouldn’t be a surprise at all to see her get picked up sooner rather than later.

Stay tuned for ,ore results from SCS #18: Declaration Of Pain as they get provided to us here at TXMMA.com.
