“Cyborg” edges out decision win; Ray Blodget, Justin Reiswerg also big winners at Legacy FC 50

HOUSTON, TX – It was a special evening at the Arena Theater as Houston-based Legacy Fighting Championship celebrated their 50th event this past Friday night. The stars came out to Legacy FC 50 with the crowd including Minnesota Viking’s running back Adrian Peterson, UFC president Dana White, local fighters Sage Northcutt and Derrick Lewis, plus a whole bevy of Houston rappers (Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Baby Bash, Z-Ro, etc.).

Big winners at LFC 50 included Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos in the main event as he returned from almost 2 years on the sidelines with a decision win over Artenas Young. The Chute Boxe fighter got the decision in his trademark aggressive style. “Machine Gun” (Young) fought well but countered too much to get the judges on his side on this one. Aggression was also an ongoing theme on the rest of the main card as the other five televised fights ended in a finish.
