DALLAS, TX – The last professional MMA event of the year in North Texas took place this past Dec. 5th with XKO 28 at Gas Monkey Live. This Xtreme Knockout card featured nine total fights on the card for the DFW crowd.
Team Takedown / Genesis fighter Mark Delarosa led the way by scoring his fifth straight victory as a pro over UFC vet Joseph Sandoval out of Lubbock. At only 21 years of age and still undefeated, Mark will definitely be one to watch in the flyweight division heading into 2016.
The biggest and only knockout of the evening went to Alexander Munoz who absolutely leveled Jesse Moreno with first two punches to score the walkout homer. The whole thing took just three seconds on the official score sheet. Check out the YouTube video below:
Other big winners included Miles Johns out of Octagon MMA in Dallas and Dez Hill out of Ruffhouse MMA in Odessa. Miles got his by third round triangle over Omar Benjar in the third while Hill moves to 7-2 after spoiling highly-touted prospect Camron Couch’s pro debut via a hard fought decision win.
