Kairós Gustavo Santiago, Dinko Bektic, Tim Buchanan etc. highlight winners at latest F2W/WGC Tourney
HOUSTON, TX – The 2015 Clutch City Classic was center stage in the Woodlands this past weekend as top grapplers from around the area showed up for another good day of competitive grappling. Outaanding performances in the kids divisions were led by Keanu Duponte (Team Tooke) and John Abney (BJJ Revolution), just to highlight a few. On the adult side, Kairós Gustavo Santiago of Rilion Gracie Academy was one of a few brown/black belt competitors who won on the day as he took home two wins via triangle choke finish. Also competing and performing well was black belt Jason Soliz (TX3CMMA) who won most of his divisions while purple belts Dinko Bectic (BJJ Revolution) and Tim Buchanan (Darkside) had highlight wins of their own. Likewise with Marlana Camacho, Ashley Deleon (Darkside), and Gabi Lem (Alliance) in the female brackets.
Many teams looked stout as well, including Team Tooke and Revolution who showed up in force and Presa who won a ton of their divisions despite bringing a relatively small contingent to the event.
