Rey Trujillo scores TKO in main event; Ryan Hollis impresses in flyweight battle

 

HUMBLE, TX – By all accounts Fury Fighting Championship 2 delivered some action-packed fights last Friday at the Humble Civic Center. It was true to form for the 18-event veterans of MMA promoting, Jace Pitre and Eric Garcia, with the matchups at Fury FC 2 producing both close contests and exciting finishes. And with future plans already to expand in the Dallas and San Antonio markets, this group is definitely here to stay.

It was a Houston vs. DFW showdown in the main event with Rey Trujillo facing off and finishing Javier Obregon in the second round by TKO. Also scoring impressive wins were Ryan Hollis and Alex Black. The former proved that he may be the top regional flyweight around by dispatching Humberto Deleon by knee KO while Black won his seventh bout in a row to prove that he too is deserving of some career gains following this one. Meanwhile the rest of the card also looked good with several area prospects gaining some much needed wins.
