Brandon Farran defeats Mike Bronzoulis by TKO in mid-week pro MMA event
FORT WORTH, TX, January 18, 2014 – Triple A MMA IV: Caged Hostility was the latest professional MMA event to hit the DFW Metroplex this past Thursday, January 16th with the event taking place at the Historic Cowtown Coliseum Stockyards Rodeo.
The Triple A MMA IV: Caged Hostility event was headlined by a clash featuring Houston native Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis taking on Abilene’s Brandon Farran. Both fighters had some momentum on their side heading into this one with Bronzoulis making an unlikely run to Bellator MMA’s Fightmaster reality show to end 2013 while Farran had won 3 out of his last 4.
The two hit the cage in the Triple A MMA IV main event with the crowd expecting a finish and that’s exactly what they got, albeit a lot earlier than expected with Bandon Farran catching Mike Bronzoulis coming in with some powerful elbows that put the durable fighter down before following up to force the stoppage at :43 in round one/
Also winning impressively at Triple A MMA IV: Caged Hostility was Farran’s Team Hostile Takeover teammate Halleigh Haak. She won by guillotine over Lynae Lovato in the night’s co-main event and featured female bout of the evening.
