Texans shine at 2013 IBJJF World Championship in Long Beach, CA
A handful of competitors from the Texas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Community made the trip this year to compete in the 2013 IBJJF World Championship event held at the CSU Long Beach Pyramid from March 30th to June 2nd. As we mentioned in a previous article, this included MMA/BJJ competitor Carlos Diego Ferreira (who also fought the night before in Corpus Christi) but plenty of others attended as well.
Medalists include the names listed below and more that we’re probably missing at the time of this writing but the point is… TEXAS represented!
