The 2012 ADCC North American Championships took place this past Sunday at Mira Mesa High School in San Diego, California.

Serving as a precursor and qualifier to the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship (ADCC) event held every two years in the UAE, this event generally attracts top talent and this time was no different as top submission grapplers went out and vied for an automatic bid to the upcoming 2013 games.

Given the unique rules catering to the highest levels of wrestling, judo, sambo, shooto and MMA in addition to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), this event once again produced some very exciting matches and submissions.

Highlighting this year’s North American edition were some amazing performances from grapplers including Keenan Cornelius, Mackenzie Dern, and AJ Agazarm amongst several other first place winners.

Check out the slideshow below as TXMMA was once again in the house to document the action or feel free to skip ahead for full results from September 14th in San Diego.
