ARLINGTON, TX, September 7, 2012 – Xtreme Knockout (XKO) will be returning for their sixteenth event next month on Saturday, October 20th.

This time around, XKO 16 will be led by a pair of title fights on top of a planned 9 total bouts currently scheduled for the evening.

In the night’s main event, Donnie “The Bomber” Bell returns to XKO after a hard-fought decision loss to Clayton “Sunshine” Robinson this past August at Legacy Fighting Championship 13. He’ll be taking on undefeated Brad Mitchell of the Dallas Jawbreakers for the vacated 155 lbs. title.

Meanwhile in the featherweight division, Douglas Frey also returns to XKO and will be facing Corpus Christi based Chris Pecero with the 145 lbs. title on the line. Frey is coming off a loss to TUF vet Chris Tickle in his last fight (also at Legacy 13) while Pecero has won two straight. The Corpus native was last seen battling it out with now UFC fighter James Vick in his last Arlington appearance at XKO 12 so this one should once again produce fireworks with the title on the line.

As for the rest of the card, it will also feature some other exciting bouts and fighters known around the area for bringing exciting performances.

One of them, Alex Russ, returns after a one year absence and his first pro loss to Bellator/Legacy veteran Steven Peterson as he looks to get back on the winning track versus Tristan Grimsley.

Meanwhile, Octagon MMA’s debuting middleweight Alfredo Leija is also someone we’ve heard might be worth keeping an eye on as he takes on fellow debuting fighting Shannon Whitfield of Metroflex Ft. Worth.

Here’s the full card below for XKO 16 as it stands today.
