DALLAS, TX, August 17, 2012 – One of the up-and-coming young prospects out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area looking to make a name for himself at Legacy Fighting Championship 13 is 21 year old Grand Prairie resident Donnie Bell.

Despite his young age, Bell has been fighting at a prolific pace since beginning as an amateur in January 2011. He moved to the pro ranks after just four months and four fights as an amateur and has remained on a tear since then, quickly building a 6-1 record with his last three wins all happening during a three week span in February/March. That’s three fights in three weeks with all being first round victories.

Now with his Legacy debut looming against Clayton Robinson next Friday, he’ll be making that pivotal next step of fighting in front of a national audience for the first time as part of the Legacy 13 main card on AXS TV.

“I don’t need cameras or anything else like that,” Donnie said. Though he’s excited to be fighting in front of a national audience while also fighting in front of his hometown, it’s showing people that he has the potential to be the best that truly excites him.

“I’ve fought so much and so often… I’m actually excited for this card more than any because I’ve had a chance to focus on my game. This is the first time I’ve been out for this long just training. It’s been five months I’ve spent just working on my game so I can’t wait to see how i have grown.”

Working at places such as The Gym for his wrestling and boxing along with Mohler’s for his BJJ, Donnie feels like he’ll be more than ready for anything Clayton “Sunshine” Robinson can throw his way.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for Clayton because he took this fight on short notice but I don’t think he’s going to be able to stop me on the ground. This will be a good “wrestling vs. Jiu-Jitsu” matchup. I see a KO in my mind but it’s a fight so there’s no telling where it will go. I feel like I can take him down, tap him out, strike with him, or whatever else I need to do. I’m just going to come ready to fight and put on a show. All the fight fans should this fight is not one they want to miss.”

“I would like to thank my sponsors Born2Bang, VIP MouthGuards, PartyTapper.com, cashrides.com, The Gym, Molhers BJJ, and all of my training partners.”
