Houston, TX, November 18, 2011 – It’s that time again to dust of our cameras and get our camcorders ready as TXMMA.com will once again be attending F2W/WGC’s 2011 Texas Open tomorrow (Saturday. Nov 19) at the Legends Sports Complex in Spring, TX. It’s always a treat to see who shows up for these events to display some high-level jiu-jitsu so we’ll be on the lookout for top performers at all levels to feature in our event recap. Speaking of which, we’ve decided to preface the show but showing some of our favorite matches from F2W/WGC events in 2011 thus far.
Before we get to the action, here are a few announcements for you guys as it relates to this tournament from us here at TXMMA.com.
► We just got some TXMMA.com GI and boardshort patches in courtesy of site sponsor and leading custom gear creator Cruz Combat. As a promotion for top grapplers competing this weekend, we’ll be giving some of these away to anyone who wins the absolute division at their rank. Pick a color and come find me (Mike) on the mats after you win the open class to claim your TXMMA patch!
► Likewise with these patches, we’ll have a (very) limited amount for sale so if you just want one, come holler at us.
► We’re also taking official photos for the event so make sure to come find me if you’re planning on ordering some prints for yourself or your kids. We try to take good ones! A full slate of action shots and crowd photos will be available on TXMMA.com along with our TXMMA Facebook Page and Google + Page immediately following the event so make sure to LIKE, CIRCLE, and do whatever else is needed to keep up with us.
► Lastly, we just want to emphasize our support for the Texas BJJ/Grappling Community! If you perform really well on Saturday, let us know so we can highlight your accomplishments in our post-event coverage. Or if you know of someone or something that could make a great story and deserves some exposure, let us know as well. It’s an open door here at TXMMA.com when it comes to supporting you guys so please, come up and introduce yourselves (no matter how busy we look out there).
