UFC 141: Lesnar versus Overeem – Official Poster and an Awesome Video Preview

November 1, 2011 –“It doesn’t get any bigger than this!” That’s the tagline on the recently released official poster for UFC 141: Lesnar versus Overeem and it couldn’t be any truer.

The December 30th clash between the incoming Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion and former K-1 Grand Prix Champion (Alistair Overeem) against the former UFC Heavyweight Champion (Brock Lesnar) could be the biggest pairing of an unstoppable force against an immovable object since Vince McMahon put up Hulk Hogan against Andre the Giant in Detroit’s Pontiac Dome at Wrestlemania III.

All jesting aside and what we have here is a legit matchup between two very large human beings that also happen to be former titleholders and remain at the top of the heap when it comes to title contention. With current titleholder Cain Velasquez taking on Junior dos Santos on FOX on November 12th, there’s a high likelihood that the immediate follow up to that match will involve a title defense against one of these two men.

Above and beyond that and this fight is just a fun fight to watch, boasting the intrigue that only a heavyweight fight between two gargantuans could bring. While contrasting in styles, both Overeem and Lesnar are athletic big men who also happen to be known as two of the strongest fighters in the sport. UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta stated that this fight was “going to be two big trucks going at it on a collision course.” That’s probably accurate.

So who do you guys think takes this one? Watch this awesome fan-made trailer by Azyunh and make your pick!
