SUGAR LAND, TX, August 10, 2011 – You know what time it is… It’s time again for the TXMMA Technique of the Week!

Today we visit with instructor Chad Kight of Sugarland MMA.  Now the head instructor for SLMMA and ranked as a brown belt under Royce Gracie, Chad has over fourteen years of MMA experience and a passion for martial arts that has led him to Brazil and beyond in order to advance his skill set.

In the following short instructional videos, Chad works with Mixed Martial Arts fighter Steven Lord (Gracie Barra Woodlands) to share a few of his techniques including  (1) a standing sweep to a mounted triangle sequence and (2) a drill working the mounted armbar to the opposite-side armbar.

After this one, please visit the TXMMA.com Technique Section for more videos and pictorials featuring instructors from all over Texas and around the globe.
