HOUSTON, TX, July 20, 2011 – This week’s TXMMA Technique of the Week comes to us courtesy of Eduardo Ramos of Atos Jiu Jitsu by way of Houston’s Elite MMA.

Mr. Ramos is a 2011 Pan Am Champion, 2011 European Champion, and 2011 World Pro Gi champion along with many other accolades he”s attained internationally and in his native Brazil, making him undoubtedly one of the top  -65KG grapplers in the world along with his teammates, the Mendes Brothers.

Making his way down to Texas for summer, “Eddie” has been spending plenty of time with Eric Williams, Hai Nguyen, and all the students over at Elite honing the finer aspects of everyone’s open guard and all things BJJ.

Watch the video below and see a little bit of his technical wizardry as he demonstrates an innovative way to sweep, take the back, and attack the collar choke from the open guard position.

Don’t forget to Bookmark the Techniques Section on the site for all past and future TXMMA Technique of the Week demonstrations!

“Kiss The Tiger”

The Reverse Omoplata
