March 20, 2011 – I just received an updated fight card for fledgling promotion 24/7 Entertainment, set to hold their inaugural Professional MMA event on Friday, April 8th, at ‘The Horseshoe‘ in Midland, TX.
Headlined by (4-2) Luis Luna taking on the undefeated Cody Pfister, the event also features such talents as WEC/UFC veteran Will Campuzano and BJJ Black Belt Daniel “Jacare” Almeida.

I have been involved in the game for about 10 yr and just like trying to use MMA/BJJ for a positive effect as much as possible. I have put on Grappling tourneys in the past called Fight for Heroes, in which we have raised money for police officers who have been wounded or killed in the line of duty.
Now I have really come to like what the Wounded Warrior Project does for service members and their families. I felt compelled to again try and do something positive with the platform of fighting in front of my hometown crowd on April 8th at 24/7 fighting.
Myself and an assistant instructor for Rhino BJJ had shirts made for our school and they turned out so good that I called the printing company and gave them the idea for the WWP/Rhino shirt and they set it all up. These shirts can be purchased for $25 by emaling me at phalanx_management@yahoo.com or messaging me on Facebook. Money from the profit on the shirts will be donated to the WWP.
