March 09, 2011 –Below is the initial card for the May 14th Legacy Amateur Series show set to make its return to the Houston Arena Theatre (pending TDLR Approval) after a successful re-branding (formerly Lonestar Beatdown) and first show at the House of Blues this past February.
As usual, the card can and most certainly WILL change prior to its final iteration as “TBA” and “TBD,” both currently slated on the matchup list, will likely drop out and be replaced by actual humans. For now, Houston fight fans can look forward to two exciting title bouts as David Armas of Silverback is set to defend his Legacy Amateur bantamweight title while Levi West goes for his own Legacy title at Welterweight after defeating the snuggie-wearing Chas Liberty just a few weeks ago at Rumble in Humble: Caged Combat 2.
Also slated for a return are the always excited duo of Jacob Silva and Tony Orozco Jr, who impressed at the last House of Blues Legacy Amateur show. Other exciting fighting like Kolton England and Corey Allmand are also set to return while BJJ Black Belt Brandon Mullins of Gracie Barra might be making his amateur debut.
