March 7, 2011 – As stated in the TXMMA Network write-up, we here at TXMMA.com have a passion for working with like-minded individuals whose mission, like us, is to support the grassroots growth of the combat sports community here in Texas.

As I always say, “rising tides raise all ships” and it with that in mind that I’m announcing a few new contributors you might be seeing on the site occasionally in the form of the video content producers over at White Boi TV.

With a passion for MMA and grappling, Andre Saad of White Boi TV actually got into conducting fighter interviews and the like after he began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Gracie Barra master Vinicius ‘Draculino’ Magalhaes. Being previously familiar with YouTube, Saad posted an interview on a whim via the popular sharing site and received tremendous positive feedback. Now he looks to continue this type of video work through White Boi TV with partners Jesus Badillo and David “Babalu” Gonzalez. He mentions their mission is “to get into the lives of the grappling students and mixed martial arts fighters in order to let everyone see their stories.”

Why, I asked. In response, Andre said going out and talking to the people involved in the sport is as much fun as he’s had in a long time. “There has been a lot of negative feedback about MMA, like how it’s dangerous and shouldn’t be allowed to take place. By going out and interviewing these guys. I want to show the masses through my videos that the sport is more positive than that.”

Having heard that, we are certainly behind White Boi TV in accomplishing their goals by giving them an added platform via our site. Thus far, they’ve posted some excellent and insightful videos giving an inside look at fighters’ lives here in Houston MMA so we’re exciting about their upcoming contributions.

White Boi TV would like to thank their sponsors, IXFA and Furia Fight Wear for all that they do in addition to this announcement.

Check out some of White Boi T’s recent work below and be on the lookout for more excellent stuff from White Boi TV here on TXMMA.com!
