Ford Mustang Stolen At Gunpoint From 4400 Block Gardendale
They say they found Jimenez on a sidewalk near the Auburn Creek Apartments. According to police, two men approached Jimenez as he stood in a parking lot talking with friends. Their report shows the men demanded his money and car keys, and then took off in his black Ford Mustang after shooting him in his face.
However, the friend tells a slightly different version of what happened. He said Jimenez became angry after seeing the men drive by him several times, staring in his direction, and they got into a confrontation. (One gunman) told them, ‘Get on the ground.’ And then my friend told him, ‘No. If you’re going to shoot me, I’d rather see you shoot me,” he said.
Jimenez was taken to University Hospital where he’s listed in stable condition. Police say they recovered his stolen car a few hours later, but they still have not located the carjackers.

Although he is slowly recovering and being the prideful fighter he is and the refusal of feeling handicapped due to his circumstances, Gilbert pushes on to feel normal again not only for himself but for his family as well.
