BVMMA is holding its Fall submission grappling tournament on Saturday, Sept 19th at 1900 W Villa Maria Rd Bryan, TX 77807-4817 weigh ins are from 8:30 to 9:30, rules meeting at 10:00, and competition immediately to follow. Weight classes are 155, 170,185, 205, and heavy. Divisions are 0-6 months 7-18 months, and 19 month + Women will have their own division. This tournament counts for series points, and as we approach the late half of the year, the team and individual races have gotten close. As always, the format is round robin, and you will wrestle each person in your weight class, win lose or draw. Each match is submission only. You will either sub, be subbed, or draw. At the end of each division, medals are awarded based on experience level, and weight. A minimum of five players makes a team, and only top five team scores will be recorded to keep it fair to smaller teams. We have seen fantastic competition, and great sportsmanship at our other series tourney so far. We hope to see that trend continue with our Fall Invitational.
