WATCH THE HISTORY-MAKING UFC 100 AT LAVACA STREET BAR – DOWNTOWN AUSTIN’S UFC DESTINATION IN THE
HEART OF THE WAREHOUSE DISTRICT

RESERVED TABLES NOW AVAILABLE – Call (512) 469-0106 for details.

Saturday, July 11th at 9PM, Lavaca Street Bar will be hosting the historic UFC 100: “Making
History.”

Marking the epic 100th show in the UFC’s remarkable history, this event features no less than 3
marquee matchups and a card that guarantees a full night of action.

Come watch as the monstrous ex-WWE and collegiate wrestling standout Brock Lesnar takes on jiu-
jitsu black belt Frank Mir for the undisputed heavyweight title. After months of trash talking
between the powerful wrestler and the submission specialist, this match will answer a number of
questions regarding Mir’s ability to repeat his prior submission victory against a now vastly-
improved Lesnar.

The second long-awaited bout on the card is a welterweight title match between Georges “Rush”
St-Pierre and Thiago “Pitbull” Alves. The more-powerful Alves will remove the strength advantage
the well-rounded St-Pierre had over his last two opponents, and brings the same dangerous
striking which put down former welterweight champion Matt Hughes. This match will make or break
St-Pierre’s standing as the top welterweight in the world and arguably one of the top pound for
pound fighters today.

The third standout match on the card is a light heavyweight grudge match between Ultimate
Fighter reality show coaches Dan Henderson and Michael “The Count” Bisping. Originally billed as
a battle between nations, the US and the UK respectively, this match is now the culmination of
months of smack talk back and forth between these two very stylistically different fighters.
Bisping, a well-rounded and aggressive rising star, will need to contend with the wily veteran
and ex-Pride champion Henderson, who combines superior wrestling with a powerful right hand.

UFC 100’s depth continues through the rest of the card, with undercard matches featuring Stephan
Bonnar vs Mark Coleman, Ultimate Fighter alumni CB Dollaway and Tom Lawlor taking each other on,
and more.

For more details on the event, available only on pay-per-view, visit the UFC 100 website at
http://100.ufc.com.

To help get you ready for the event, food and drink specials will also be in effect from 7-9 PM:

-$1.50 domestic beers and $3.00 Two-Legged Monkey shots.

-$2.00 pizza slices from Hog Island Deli.

Make sure to come in early, have some drinks, enjoy some food, and settle in to watch this epic
event in the comfort of the warehouse district’s most relaxed and accessible bar.
With great fights provided by the UFC, convenient and delicious food from Hog Island Deli,
affordable drinks, and an accessible, relaxed atmosphere right in a convenient warehouse
district location, the all new Lavaca Street is Austin’s new home for the UFC in the heart of
downtown. Come out and join us this Saturday for UFC 100 and check out why watching
sports at Lavaca Street Bar is always a great time.

Lavaca Street Bar is located at 405 Lavaca St., at the corner of 4th and Lavaca in downtown
Austin.
