2008 DOLLAMUR GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP
Dallas Convention Center May 3rd

The North American Grappling Association (NAGA), America’s largest association of grapplers has again been asked to coordinate the 2008 Dollamur Grappling Championship, a submission grappling tournament in Dallas, Texas being held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008.

The Dollamur Sports Festival is a bi-annual event that features multiple fitness and athletic events ranging from grappling and other martial arts, to; bodybuilding, arm wrestling, cheerleading, weightlifting and more.

The submission grappling will take place at the Dallas Convention Center, as will the other Martial Arts Festival events. The event welcomes both individuals and teams to compete and is nationally RANKED.
NO-GI & GI ON SATURDAY

We realize that this is inconvenient and expensive to force competitors to stay for 2 days.

To make things easier and more affordable, all children & adult divisions (Gi & No-Gi) will take place on Saturday. This schedule will allow competitors to enjoy more time at the Sports Festival or whatever else you have that weekend that is important to you.

WEIGH-INS and REGISTRATION OPTIONS
Competitors will have the option to weigh-in on Friday evening or weigh-in and register on Saturday any time before you compete. This means you can weigh-in and compete in both gi & no-gi competition all in one day. You are not required to weigh-in on Friday however if you are intent on cutting weight the day before then go crazy. Either way please have a photo ID on hand when registering and weighing in.

DOLLUMAR EVENT IS NATIONALLY RANKED
This year’s Dollumar Grappling Championships will be nationally Ranked! Ranked is a submission grappling rating system where points are earned and accumulated towards a national grappling title. More details can be found at nationallyranked.com.

NO-GI and GI RULES

Please make sure to attend the rules meetings at 10:00 a.m. before the start of the day’s divisions. More details can be found at the NAGA website: nagafighter.com.
