Bout #1 – 170 lbs
Chidi Njokuidnni (TX) won by 1st round TKO due to strikes over George (pronounced Jorge) Cortez of TX. This started out quick with Cortez pressing Chidi against the cage as the ref had to jump out of the way but was caught with some knees. Chidi then landed some more knees and punches that put Cortez down. Cortez was on the ground trying to survive but was just getting mauled with punches. The ref eventually stopped the beating about 1:30 in. Chidi showed he has an amazing punching ability but not much else as Cortez was outgunned here.

Bout #2 – 185 lbs
Gerald Harris (Team Quest) won by 1st round TKO due to strikes over Jeremiah Sanders of OK. According to the bout sheet they were handing out Sanders was a last minute replacement for Aaron Michael Pendleton. From first thoughts of looking at Sanders, it looked like he didn’t stand a chance which proved correct. Harris shocked him with his first punch he threw. Sanders did land a good kick but was immediately taken down. Once the fight hit the ground Harris threw a few punches and the ref stopped it. The entire fight lasted around 30 seconds. Harris didn’t even break a sweat.

Bout #3 – 265 lbs
Tony Melton (TX) won by 1st round KO over Julian Walters (TX). Both men had huge cheering sections which made this fight really exciting. They came out trading until Tony got the takedown but Julian slapped on a guillotine choke. He lost the choke and Tony took top position landing some blows. They were stood up when Tony landed an illegal knee to a downed Julian. When it resumed Tony was trying a single leg but was caught in another guillotine choke. The ref once again stood them up for lack of action. After they resumed the fight again Tony landed a humongous left hand that dropped Julian like he was shot with a sniper’s bullet. It came at the end of the 1st. Both men were evenly matched so it was a decent bout with a great ending that erupted the crowd.

Bout #4 – 145 lbs
Elijah Reyes (all the way from Guam) won by 1st round tapout due to armbar over a very game Frank Barragan of Dallas, TX. Once again both of them had huge cheering sections so the fight was exciting. Frank threw a high kick to start then Reyes pressed forward throwing punches. Reyes controlled from the top mount position landing punches. Frank was scrambling from the bottom trying subs but wasn’t able to stop the punches. Frank was still very alive but was getting nailed as Reyes kept standing up before diving in for the kill. Reyes then was able to take advantage of a scramble and secure an armbar for the win. Bout lasted around 3:30 and was good while it lasted.

Bout #5 – 265 lbs
Michael Pitt of Ohio won a 1st round Submission with a guillotine choke over Adam Rodman of Texas. This started slowly with both of them just circling each other until Rodman pressed Pitt against the cage with Pitt trying a guillotine choke. Pitt was wrenching it back as hard as could as Rodman’s face was berry red. The ending looked odd as Rodman just collapsed due to the choke. He didn’t tap. It was maybe 2 minutes.

Bout #6 – 155 lbs
Chris Crable (TX) won by 2nd round KO over the favored Armando Guedes Neto. Round 1 – Crable looked intense coming out but was taken down immediately. Neto was working and Crable tried a triangle choke briefly. Neto then took side control and as Crable tried to stand up Neto took his back. After some more positioning Neto was in top guard landing a few punches. The ref stood them up and Neto got a lazy single leg. Crable had a weak guillotine choke as the first round came to an end. The round went to Neto.
Round 2 – Crable started with a thunderous kick to the body that echoed out in the theater. They traded punches for a bit then Crable nailed Neto with some huge knees then followed it to the ground with punches to end it about 1:30 in. The ref had to pull Crable off or at least he made it to look like that. Someone from Crable’s corner jumped the cage and ran in which caused Neto’s corner to try to run in but they were held back. A good job by everyone as I thought there was going to be a brawl between the corners.

Bout #7 – 265 lbs
John Paul (aka JP) Wilson of Dayton, OH won by 1st round TKO due to strikes over Jason Nicholson. Nicholson pressed JP against the cage but JP pulled him to the ground. Once on the ground he landed some punches causing the ref to step in and stop it.

Bout #8 – 155 lbs
Zac George of Team Quest beat Cody Shipp by Unanimous Decision in all three rounds. This was a very competitive matchup that turned out great.
1st round – They traded blows to start with Zac getting the better of the exchange. Shipp then answered with good shots of his own and took Zac down with a headlock. Shipp was trying to sink in a guillotine but they had to be split up by the ref with Zac taking control on the restart with punches. Shipp went to the ground but Zac just rained down blows. After a bit on the ground the ref stood them back up. On their feet again both started to show signs of tiring. Shipp went for a takedown but it was bad. The crowd was laughing as Zac was over his back so far he was looking at Shipp’s third eye to end the round.
2nd round – Zac came out and landed some heavy blows before taking Shipp down. There wasn’t much action until Shipp reversed it taking top mount. Zac was able to get up and they stood up. There was a brief exchange until Shipp jumped onto Zac’s chest which looked weird. To the delight of the fans, Zac walked forward and delivered a big slam. Zac worked his punches from top mount while Shipp survived but looking for a sub. The ref stood them back up and Shipp landed some good punches before getting hit with a knee then taken down.
3rd round – They traded a few punches before Shipp pulled guard. Zac landed some shots but there wasn’t much action even with Zac taking side control so they were stood back up. Both fighters really looked tired at this point. Zac dropped Shipp with a leg kick then tried to work from the top again. After being stood up yet again some good punches were landed by both. The end came with Zac in top mount. Good fight even though it was slow at times.

Bout #9 – 170 lbs
Joe Christopher (TX) won by 1st round ref decision over Thor Castillo of Oklahoma. This started fast with Joe shooting for a takedown. He wasn’t really doing anything but trying to get top mount. Thor was warned for grabbing the cage multiple times during this period. They were almost stood up as Chris was going for a leglock but Thor dropped back down for top position. Joe gained control from the bottom and tried to apply a triangle to the side of Thor’s head. Thor powered out of it and won a scramble but Chris floated over his shoulder to get the armbar. The crowd was really confused as they thought the bout was just being stood back up. Thor wasn’t complaining about the stoppage but it looked odd as his arm was never close to being extended out.

MAIN EVENT Bout #10 – 265 lbs
Team Quest member Jeremiah Constant won by a 1st round Tapout due to a keylock over Chris Guillen, the current IFO Champion. Chris showed up in the best shape he’s ever been and looked to be taking the bout very seriously. They both came out wildly swinging and Constant dropped Chris with a punch. Constant was throwing some blows but Chris tried for a keylock on the bottom but couldn’t get it. Constant eventually took his back out of a scramble but lost it so he went to side control then to half guard where he won when Chris tapped.
