COWBOY” RIZZO ARRIVES IN DALLAS
TO KICK OFF ART OF WAR 3, FIGHT WEEK

DALLAS, TEXAS — IFA World Heavyweight Champion, Pedro “The Rock” Rizzo arrived from Brazil, in Dallas, today (Monday, Aug. 27), Texas style with a cowboy hat atop his head. He’s in Dallas, finishing up preparations for his upcoming world title defense against Jeff “The Snowman” Monson this Saturday night (Sept. 1) at American Airlines Center.

The Rizzo vs Monson title bout will be one of ten mixed martial arts fights on the ART OF WAR 3, USA vs BRAZIL nationally televised Pay-Per-View event (10 p.m. Eastern, 7:00 p.m. Pacific).

Former UFC stars and Monson’s Team USA teammates, Jeremy “Gumby” Horn and Ron “H20” Waterman, are also due to arrive in Dallas later today, as is the remainder of the card. Horn, who has a win over UFC super star Chuck Liddell on his lengthy MMA resume, will be battling Brazilian, Jorge Santiago in a feature bout.

Waterman, a former UFC World Heavyweight title challenger, will be facing undefeated Mario Rinaldi, also of Brazil.

For Rizzo, the cowboy hat says one thing. “I’m ready for a Texas shootout,” smiled Rizzo, undefeated as a world kickboxing champion. “They tell me that cowboys are tough guys, so I’m here to prove, I’m a touch guy. I don’t know if anyone will believe the Cowboy part, but they will know I’m a tough guy when it’s over.”
