Renegades Vendetta – This Saturday in Houston!

With the strength of a sold out show on Jan 21st 2006 at the Verizon Wireless Theater, and to accommodate the hundreds of unlucky fans who were turned away at the box office because of the sellout, Renegades is back and in the only venue in Houston that can contain the out-of-control action and pulse-pounding spectacle that is Renegades!

This great card starts with the main event, pitting two of the best heavyweights from Houston in a grudge match of biblical proportions, UFC veteran Sam “the Experience” Adkins takes on Bushi Ban martial arts powerhouse and icon Eric Loveless. On their first meeting Sam lost to Eric in what to many spectators was a highly controversial decision. This time, Sam vows not to leave it to the judges, but to end the bout decisively with a brutal knock out!

Our co-main event features undefeated rising lightweight superstar Vince Libardi from San Antonio squaring off against journeyman Randy Hauer from Houston Metro Fight Club. Randy hopes to blemish Vince’s unbeaten record, but after Vince’s devastating first round KO of Adam Suave in Austin at the last Renegades, Randy will have his hands full!

Todd Moore, undefeated Houstonian welterweight fighting out of Houston BJJ Club, will put his record on the line as he makes his bid for a title shot by facing Grappler’s Lair up and comer TJ Waldburger. Todd hopes to dispatch his opponent quickly and TJ hopes to show Houston why he is considered the best welterweight prospect in Central TX!

Also on the card are two more undefeated stars on the rise. San Antonio knockout artist Aaron Rosas and Oklahoma lightweight ground and pound powerhouse Matt Grice. They will respectively take on Temple Texas’ Patrick Miller and Houston Metro Fight Club’s Lee King! Both bouts will be all out wars and upsets can be expected!

Two powerhouse teams from Houston will also grace the card, Latin juggernaut Puro Azteca trained by Armando Deleon, and Urban Jungle coached by Tony Torres-Aponte, will be fielding teams that may once again showcase their teams’ dominance of the sport

Middleweight Angel “the Mexican Heavy Hitter”, from Puro Azteca will face Houston rookie Sam Vasquez from Revolution Dojo. Sammy’s grappling skills will hope to negate Angel’s lethal hands.

Lightweight Sam Mohamed and John Kirk from Puro Azteca will face from Urban Jungle lightweight Victor Garza and Team Mad Dog journeyman Jeremiah O’Neal. Puro Azteca as a team has never lost a bout in Renegades and they hope to make this show no exception. Rounding out the card, rapper and Houston based Swisha House records fighter, middleweight Timothy “Kanrock” Williams will face Urban Jungle’s Mike Bruschuk. Mike will make his debut and Kanrock, ever the showman, promises a flawless victory.

Elite Martial Arts’ heavy handed lightweight Steve Garcia will face from the Vasquez Academy in Austin, newcomer Travis Joiner. Welterweight Nick Biddle from Urban Jungle will make his debut against rookie Gerardo Abadi representing U of H mixed martial arts.

Last but by no means least, Bushi Ban warrior Jesse Vasquez will face George Zammaron from Austin TX’s Vasquez Academy. George intends to make his debut a stellar one and send Jesse home early.
