Competitors Wanted !!! Sensei Morris Arredondo hosts the Night of Champions II Invitational Martial Arts Tournament When: Friday, March 24th 6:30 pm Where: B.T. This Invitational event will feature the following competetive divisions: – Katas (18 and under) – Weapons Katas (18 and under) – Sparring (8-9 years old, 10-11 years old, and any other division that can be filled) – Kid’s Grappling (Gi Only) – Adult Novice Submission No-Gi Grappling (Less than 175 lbs.) – Adult Novice Submission No-Gi Grappling (175+ lbs.) – Reality Fighting (Hybrid Point Sparring/Submission Grappling) – Open
This is an invitational tournament unlike any other in the state. This one will run fast and furious. Fees for competetors are $15.00, Spectators $5.00, and Limited Floor access for $8.00 There will be four competetors per division with all competetors taking home a medal and a trophy (1st, 2nd, and two 3rd place awards per division). This is the ideal opportunity for someone just breaking into the game…grappling, sparring, katas, and weapons. No sand-bagging please. We’re promoting this for beginners to get some experience. A portion of the proceeds to benefit the Kerrville Salvation Army, VFW, and the Boys and Girls Kids Club. In attendence (for spectator enjoyment) will be Ms. Texas International Runner-up Breanna Fagerli, the San Antonio Rosas professional Cheerleaders, and local Christian recording artist Teniell Lee.
