K1, the world famous full contact standup fighting organization, is holding open tryouts for only the second time in its history. Read more for all the details on how you can try out. K1, the world famous full contact standup fighting organization, is holding open tryouts for only the second time in its history on Thursday and Friday, August 11 and 12 2005 at The Mirage Hotel and Casino. Fighters need to qualify for either the 154lb (70kg) or the 200+ lb (90.9kg +) division. Fighters will be tested in various areas such as speed, power, flexibility, agility etc, and will also be pitted against each other in sparring sessions.
