It is coming up this Saturday April 16 2005 at Midland College P.E. Building at 9 am. (weigh in day before or day of tourney at 8 am).
It looks like there will be guys competing from Pittman’s, Brasa, Team Damage, Baker’s, Texas Powerhouse, Grappler’s Lair, Vasquez, Team Rising, and hopefully many more. This event has grown beyond what I hoped 3 years ago and has become a great way for guys to compete and meet new mma and bjj guys without all of the politics of some of the other shows.
Remember, we are schedualed to have KOTC and UFC superstar Paul Buentello there for a seminar.I got a chance to work with Paul and I can tell you first-hand that no one can afford to miss the things he has to show whether you are working on ground defense, stand-up skills, or just overall work on your game.
We are also having a UFC party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Odessa that night.
