The North Texas No Gi Challenge Saturday 9-4pm August 7th at the Arlington Convention Center will host two separate tournaments that day.The State Championship FINAL ROUND of our previous qualifiers will be held and a separate No Gi tourney that you DO NOT HAVE TO QUALIFY FOR will be held.
-Friday August 6th from 1-5pm we have kids BJJ & karate sparring competitions also.
-Experience level for all brackets is 5 YEARS & UNDER & includes Wrestling / BJJ / Judo / Jiu-Jitsu, etc.
-The regular No Gi tourney will once again have (6) weight classes & standard BJJ rules & scoring

-The weight classes are as follows
155 & under / 156-170 / 171-185 / 186-200 / 201-225 / 226 & up
-All Fighters are only responsible for the $40 reg. fee at the door & that will get you in the Health & Fitness Expo as well.
-If you are a spectator the cost is $15 for the tournament & the Health & Fitness Expo. This will give you access to the National Strong Man & Power lifting competitions, Pro-Cup Body building, PCW wrestling, Hot Model & Fitness competitions, etc.
The two previous qualifiers in April & June ran very smoothly and quick. Some weight classes were combined at the early events. Therefore, for quality purposes, we will host only two of the State Championship FINAL ROUND brackets Saturday August 7th.
– The two FINAL ROUND brackets will be the 155 & under and the 156-170 weight classes.
– The remaining brackets are partially full and
as soon as they fill from proceeding qualifiers, we will host them.The remaining (4) brackets will be qualifiers for the next tournament also
We are going to host several of the qualifiers every year with the Champions getting state championship belts in the FINAL ROUND at the Arlington Convention Center.
They are only going to get bigger and better and the competition is going to get tough.
