On Friday, March 12th, the Comal County Sheriff’s Office hosted renowed Mixed Martial Arts instructor Vincent Fields (www.vincentfields.com)for a training seminar. Thirty one officers attended the training which included apprehension techinques and control tactics from Russian Sambo, Brazilian JiuJitsu, and submission grappling.
This was the first time the agency has had this specific type of training.The Sheriff’s Office plans to have Fields return at a later date for additional training.
