- Frank Mir d Wes Sims – TKO 4:21 R2; Mir nailed Sims’ chin from standing with two knees and two solid punches.
- B.J. Penn d Matt Hughes – Rear Naked Choke 4:39 R1; Penn dominated Hughes on the ground, Hughes commited both hands to going for the foot/ankle lock with Penn on his back and left his chin exposed.ÿ Penn wins welterweight title.
- Renato Verissimo d Carlos Newton – Unanimous Decision; Verissimo dominated Newton the entire match.
- Vitor Belfort d Randy Couture – TKO Approx 15 sec. R1; Freak accident, first punch from Vitor barely grazes Couture but his finger or a corner of the glove slicesÿCouture’s lower eyelid and creates a corneal abrasion.ÿ Belfort wins light heavyweight title.
