I would like to officially welcome Rudy Vasquez and his academy to Team Renzo Gracie! It is an honor and priviledge to have such a talented guy as Rudy to represent us. If any of you guys are interested in getting in some serious NHB/BJJ training in Austin Texas, I highly suggest going over to Rudy’s to train. Rudy and a few of his guys were up this weekend and it was a great experience.
Rudy’s skills are more than solid on the ground as well as his stand up skills being amazing. With around 20 years in Muay Thai and Boxing as well as being certified under Dan Inosanto for JKD as well as others, you are going to get some solid stand up as well as solid ground game! Rudy has years of BJJ behind him and now will be studying exclusively with us, Team Renzo Gracie. I can assure you that we would not have Rudy up training with us if his skills were not there to help the Team. Rudy will be up again in a few weeks to help a couple of our guys get ready for some major fights in Japan!
You can also expect to see alot of us down in Texas now. Team Renzo is on the move and we are in Texas to stay! We will be doing seminars etc. with Rudy in the near future as well.
I will be doing an interview with Rudy this week and have it up on our website (www.RenzoGracie.com)ÿso you guys get a better perspective on what a great guy he is. Rudy will be up training with us regularly and working with our guys before their fights.
