(Richardson, Texas) The first-annual IKF/NACSO Texas Championships have been set for Saturday, June 21st at The Richardson, Texas Civic Center. The event will serve as a qualifier for the IKF-NATIONALS, which will be held in August, and have been tenatively booked at a site in Denver, Colorado. Texas Champions will be determined in men’s, women’s, youth and teen categories; and fighting styles include: MUY-THAI, INTERNATIONAL RULES AND FULL CONTACT. Competitors are encouraged to begin competing as soon as possible in IKF/NACSO events, which are held locally and consistently at The Fightatorium in Richardson, Texas. Such competition will help determine seeding/rankings of competitors going into the Texas Championships. Those competitors that IKF/NACSO officials are unfamiliar with will be seeded lower than those fighters who have participated in events prior to “Championship Weekend” in June.
