“I am extremely proud to announce the names of my first Texas Black Belts in Machado Jiu-Jitsu! The names of the students who will become Machado Black Belts are as follows: Klay Pittman, Tim Burrill, Travis Lutter, and William Vandry! At 1:00pm on June 1st, 2002 at the 2002 Texas BJJ Championships there will be a belt ceremony to officially award the belts to these outstanding students. Please everyone try to attended this event. It is a first for Texas and something we will always remember in the coming years. Later this month I will also release the new rankings for all current Machado Students in Texas.”
