Just a tidbit – While watching a Muay Thai demonstration at a Thai cultural festival last Sunday, we ran into Houston’s most renowned Muay Thai Kru, Kru Pong.ÿ Long known to the scene in Houston but not very high profile,ÿ Pong has quietly made a name for himself over the years, and of note also was Saul Soliz’s Muay Thai instructor…Saul gave his gym a Thai name in honor of Pong.ÿ Kru Pong was exceedingly warm and friendly and invited everyone and anyone to stop by his school, One 2 One Training Center, which is located off of Richmond, right next door to the restaurant he and his wife run, Thai Gourmet.ÿ If you’re ever in the area, and are interested in learning Muay Thai, stop by.ÿ The school info is located on our Houston schools index.ÿ Click Here.
