New Gracie Barra academy opens in the Heights area of Houston

HOUSTON, TX – The inner loop just got another dose of Brazilian Jiujitsu in its’ northern corridor with Pedro Araújo open up Gracie Barra Heights at 4721 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009. A multiple-time world champion at every rank from blue to brown belt, Araújo achieved the rank of black belt under Vinícius “Draculino” Magalhães, the head of GB’s Texas association. With over 40 IBJJF medals and 4 world titles to his name, Pedro is sure to be a healthy addition to the Houston (and Texas) BJJ scene. He will now look to build a strong presence regionally starting from the ground up.

To christian his new academy, Araújo recently held an open seminar with an invitation for all to participate at no cost at his new academy. He featured some of the highlights of his game, including his flexible stretch/spider guard along with some key aspects of finishing both the footlock and the guillotine.
