Dragonball kid stays undefeated with first round TKO; Graves also stays undefeated at Fury FC 10

HUMBLE, TX – GB Woodlands’ Ricky Turcios brought his pro record up to an impressive 7-0 last Friday in Humble. Facing a crafty veteran opponent in Gerzan Chau, he knew he’d have to be up to par and he showed up in top form, utilizing his speed and timing to earn the round one TKO. With this win, Turcios puts himself right at the top of the pile when it comes to the prospects of landing in the UFC, something his coach/teammate Alex Morono has already accomplished. Lots of good things happening at the northern end of Houston.

The Fight of the Night came in the co-main event of the evening between Charlie Ontiveros and Chris Lopez. The two fought tooth and nail in the co-main event of the evening, concluding in a narrow split decision in favor of the karate kid from Cleveland, TX.

Elsewhere on the card a few other burgeoning prospects upped their record as well. The most notable one was 22 year old Cameron Graves, a 6-0 amateur at one point who has since improved his record to 3-0 as a pro with his first round TKO via elbows over Juan Pina at Fury FC 10. Other big winners included Angel Huerta, Colin Wright and Morgan Oriahi.
