Desmond Hill picks up decision over Mitchelle Hale; Luis Luna scores first round TKO at PFS 4

 

MIDLAND, TX – Premier Fight Series 4 took place this past Saturday, June 13th at the Midland Convention Center. Put on by Ricky Barrientes and crew, the event featured both professional and amateur bouts for a total of 10 bouts on the evening.

In the main event of the night, West Texas veterans Desmond Hill and Mitchell Hale fought tooth and nail in three rounds of action that saw Desmond get the decision to move to 6-2 overall. Hale drops to 8-7 after PFS 4.

Next up in the co-main event, local favorite Luis Luna added another first round TKO to his record with his win over Oklahoma-based journeyman Zac Kelley.

Hereford’s Paco Castillo also scored his own big win, defeating Tyler Pacheco by armbar while DFW bantamweight prospect Mark Delarosa stayed undefeated at 4-0 with his second round TKO over Abilene’s Xavier Siller, who now drops to 5-5.

Elsewhere at PFS 4, Antonio Jones scored a big salmon Derrick Benoit right off the jump en route to the RNC finish in his pro debut while Montana Stewart scored a second round armbar to win for the second time as a pro over Roxanne Ceasear. Omar Benjar scored his own sub (RNC) in the first round over Daniel Sanchez while Justin Davenport got his own first round stoppage, by TKO over John Clay, to complete the pro MMA results for the evening.

On the amateur side, it was Edgar Baeza and Peter Bouton gaining the first wins of the evening over Jorddy Villegas and Chad Box respectively.
