Middleweight title fight headline Legacy FC 31; Top Houston-based prospects face off in summer pro MMA feature

Houston is set for one great fight card this summer with Legacy FC announcing the complete fight card for their latest pro event. Taking place on June 13th at the Arena Theater, Legacy Fighting Championship 31 features a middleweight title fight along with several other exciting bouts slated for AXS TV.

In the Legacy Fighting Championship 31 headliner, Bubba Bush looks to defend his middleweight title for the second time. He’ll face a formidable challenge when he takes on undefeated prospect Alfonso Gonzales. With the recent rash of Legacy FC champions ascending into the UFC this fight may have more implications than just a belt. Look for both these up-and-comers to fight with that in mind at Legacy Fighting Championship 31.

Meanwhile in the co-main event, Damacio Page faces Elias “Smash” Garcia in a non-title fight after Henry Cejudo pulled out of his planned title bout with the UFC veteran, Page. With 2 wins in Legacy Page is experiencing a bit of a career resurgence but will be tested by the up and comer.

As for the rest of the main card, it definitely offers up a few more intriguing fights.

Gracie Barra’s North Houston MMA coach Alex Morono will be back in action taking on Gold Team’s Diego “Gaucho” da Silva in a welterweight bout. Meanwhile, two more highly-touted Houstonians face each out other when Jared Chafee faces off versus Justin Reiswerg.

Hard Head Hiter Charlie Ontiveros also faces a tough opponent in Artenas “Machine Gun” Young in what is sure to be a thrilling contest between two tough strikers.

Another exciting bout pitting Metro Fight Club’s Eric Valdez opposite 4OZ fighter Alex Black completes the Legacy FC 31 televised offering.
