Gaveston BJJ’s Evan Gideon showcases a move he learned from the Mendes Bros
December 26, 2013 – Today’s long-delayed edition of the TXMMA Technique of the Week features GFTeam brown belt Evan Gideon.
As the head instructor for Galveston BJJ / Combat Sports Institute, Evan Gideon has been teaching and competing in Texas for the better part of the last few years. He arrived here as a purple belt after winning the Mundials (IBJJF Worlds) at the blue belt level and quickly gained local recognition as one of the competitors to watch out for. He’s continued that same way since earning his brown belt under Igor Santos and should be a force for Texas for years to come.
