The Legacy Amateur Series returns to Houston’s Arena Theater on October 6th and will be presenting something unique for Houston MMA fight fans with a hybrid fight card featuring both Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Muay Thai kickboxing action.
All the action at Legacy Amateur Series 10 will take place in a ring as opposed to the standard cage used exclusively for MMA events.
This will be the third Legacy event featuring Muay Thai since 2010 and will also crown Legacy’s first Muay Thai champion in the 147 lbs. division when Kru Pong’s Kaisaamroi Aoi Kiri takes on Cody Phillips of 4OZ Fight Club.
Meanwhile, two Legacy Amateur Series titles will be on the line as well with Evan Thompson of Machado BJJ in Dallas taking on Angelus McFarlane of 4OZ Fight Club for the middleweight belt while Luis Lara of Metro Fight Club will be taking on Leroy Vasquez of SBA for the lightweight belt.
