XKO 15 scheduled for next Saturday, June 2nd in Arlington
ARLINGTON, TX, May 24, 2012 – The last exciting edition of Back Alley Promotions’ XKO (Xtreme Knockout) event is coming up in just little over one week with XKO 15 scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd at The Gym in Arlington.
The event will include special appearances by a top UFC welterweight contender in Johny Hendricks along with UFC legend Randy “The Natural” Couture.
Aside from those guys in the crowd to meet XKO’s loyal fans, there are eight bouts to look forward to on the card currently scheduled for The Gym.
Leading the way will be UFC veteran and 4-time NCAA All-American wrestler from OSU Jake Rosholt. He will be making his second XKO appearance and first since April 2011 against highly respected veteran Matthew Thompson (16-9). Rosholt has wins over guys like Chris Leben in the UFC while Thompson is no stranger to a high caliber of competition himself after having faced names like current UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell in his own well-traveled career.
In the co-main event of the evening, Dallas Jawbreaker Roy Spoon returns for his 7th XKO appearance against Hayward “The Hybrid” Charles. Both these guys are coming off losses in their last fight to Josh Lee and Zac Kelley respectively so expect for both to be fighting like it as they seek to return to the winning track.
The rest of the card features some other exciting fighters, including undefeated former wrestler Chas Skelly who’ll be making his return to the cage for the first time after two years of inactivity against Bellator vet Jeremy Myers. He’ll no doubt be looking to do big things and is definitely a legit prospect to watch considering he has 2 submission wins over fast-rising UFC featherweight Daniel Pineda – who fights Mike Brown at UFC 146 this Saturday night.
