HOUSTON, TX, May 1, 2012 – There’s been a huge change atop the Legacy Fighting Championship 11 card scheduled for the Arena Theater on and HDNet’s Friday Night Fights on May 11th as it was revealed that Houston-based Jesus “The Spaniard” Rivera (4OZ Fight Club) has pulled out of his planned 155 lbs. main event title fight versus current LFC welterweight champ Jorge “Macaco” Patino (Gold Team) due to injury.

Taking his place on short notice will be none other than Dallas-based fighter Clay Hantz. A 7-3 veteran fighting out of the Octagon MMA camp, the West Texas native has finished 5 out of 7 by submission heading into his Legacy debut. Walking straight into a title shot in his LFC debut, he’ll have his hands full with the longtime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in this one but he’ll no doubt be game for it as  this bout will no doubt be the biggest of his four year professional career.

As for Macaco, the opponent has changed but the mission remains the same as the longtime vale tudo legend will look to secure the second title of long and illustrious career as he seeks to become both the LFC welterweight and lightweight champion come May 11th.

Here’s the entire card for the upcoming event as it stands today.
