April 8, 2011 – Tomorrow night’s Legacy Fighting Championship event is official after today’s weigh-ins this afternoon at event sponsor Hooters off 290 in Cypress/Fairbanks.
All fighters made weight with the exception of Jonathan “Mack Truck” Mack, who weighed in at 198 pounds, eight pounds over the agreed middleweight limit. Good news for fans of both Mack and the “Machine Gun Nation” is that the matchup between he and Artenas “Machine Young” Young will still take place with Mack giving up a portion of his purse to compensate for the weight disparity.
Other than, the rest of the fighters on the card all stepped on the scales at their agreed limits to make the card official. Now the action will move inside the Legacy cage tomorrow night beginning at 8PM after the very 1st Houston MMA Wedding ever between 4OZ Fight Club trainer Bobby Perez and fiancée Jennifer Josey.
