Houston, TX – January 31, 2011 – In a release to local press, Legacy promoter Mick Maynard announced today the latest official lineup for the upcoming Legacy Amateur Combat Series, set for February 18th at the House of Blues in downtown Houston.
With aims of the amateur event series taking over where its predecessor Lonestar Beatdown left off, Legacy Promotions hopes to use these amateur events as a feeder league to prepare up-and-coming amateur talent for their popular Legacy Fighting Championship professional event, which just had its last show this past Saturday.
As for this iteration of Legacy Amateur Combat, fans should expect yet another exciting card as the three featured bouts of the evening have set the stage for the crowning of three new champions for the fledgling organization. I won’t delve into them in detail just yet but I do believe all three with be extremely competitive bouts that should do the elevated platform at the House of Blues justice.
Besides the three main bouts, another feature bout includes a ladies MMA match between two very-talented ladies in Kristy Kester and Jordan Gaza, of College Station and Dallas respectively.
