Saturday, March 20th at Collins Martial Arts in Hurst

This is a charity event – donations are accepted but not required; all proceeds go to SafeHaven of Tarrant County. Donations of money, food, clothes, etc are all welcome; give as much or as little as you can.

Course will focus on basic safety skills in public, etc; for about 10-15% of the seminar.  The rest will be primarily effective ground fighting techniques using submissions.strikes, etc; modified from M.M.A. rules to NO rules – we will be learning effective, REAL ways to protect yourself in these situations.  Seminar starts at 2 p.m. and will go roughly 3 to 3 1/2 hours.  Women of all ages are invited to participate.  No prior martial arts experience is required.  If you are a male instructor of a school that would like to attend in order to pass along some of these techniques to your students, please email us at chris@collinsmartialarts.com.

If you think you are likely to come, PLEASE R.S.V.P. by either calling the school at 817.791.1565, or preferably by emailing us at chris@collinsmartialarts.com.

We had a great turnout last time; with over $1,000 raised plus several hundred dollars worth of other items for SafeHaven.  We’re going to try to top it this time.  If you wish to attend and watch only, that is ok.  If you cannot attend, but would still like to donate, you can mail a check to:

Collins Martial Arts

540 W. Pipeline Rd. Ste. C

Hurst, TX 76053

DO NOT MAKE CHECKS OUT TO COLLINS MARTIAL ARTS!

PLEASE MAKE THEM OUT DIRECTLY TO SAFEHAVEN!

If you have any additional questions, you can find out more info by visiting:  www.collinsmartialarts.com and clicking on the ‘Special Events’ link, or feel free to call us at 817.791.1565 or email at chris@collinsmartialarts.com
