Rolles Gracie Jr. was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is son of Rolls Gracie who is considered to have been the best Jiu-Jitsu practiotioner and fighter of all times. Rolles is grandson of Carlos Gracie Sr, founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Rolles started his BJJ training at age 6 and continued training at the world famous Gracie Barra school in Rio de Janeiro. During this time, Rolles excelled in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo,collecting many titles throghout the years.
Rolles currently trains and teaches at Renzo Gracie academy in New York city, with his cousin, world renowned MMA and Jiu-Jitsu fighter, Renzo Gracie. Rolles is a 2nd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He teaches private seminars to clients such as New York Jets, NYPD,Fort Meyers Police Academy and the United States Navy Seals.
