West Texas Submission Championships 3 will be held at the MIdland College gym at 9am on April 16th 2005. We will have Men’s Women’s and Children’s divisions Gi and No-Gi. It is RANKED by the NAGA. There will also be an open divion that is going to be for pro’s/blackbelts/instructors/ or anyone who wants to give it a shot to win $500. Medals and shirts awarded to 1st place in all divisions except for Pro. Read for more details..

Men’s and Women’s divisions will have 3 classes – lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight beginner and advanced.
Children will be up to 11, 12 to15 and 15-18 (anyone under 18 is welcome to do the higher level with parental permission). And skill levels being beginner and advanced.
The “Pro” Open will be middleweight and heavyweight (like Pride). Open to all experience levels.
Entry fee’s will be $40 for first division and $20 for each additional division. An all day pass to the event will be $5
Rules:
The time of each match will be 2×3 min rounds with no overtime,(will go to judges decision). Pro division will have 2×5 min rounds and 1×5 overtime round
All submissions will be allowed except for isolated neck cranks (call for info) and heel hooks. Everything else is ok
All takedowns allowed except for overhead slams (suplexes) and there will be no slamming from the guard higher than 6 inches and it must be on the back only.
