Open Letter from Felipe Espinoza to Steve Armstrong

Steve Armstrong-

Good afternoon. I am Felipe Espinoza (aka PanAmSilver). I just competed in the Texas submission Challenge last weekend and won the division I entered in 190-205 GOLD…bumped up a class 205-220 GOLD…and should have won the Absolute Advanced Finals(Silver). I was ahead after a double leg takedown & lost on points in OT to a 270lb muscular monster that flew in from Baltimore Ground & Pound.

I noticed our good friend Ira was a no-show, again. It was also ironic that in between fights in the tournament I walked over to the University library on campus and signed on TXMMA. Guess, who was logged on during the competition? Yes…Ira Boyd.

Well, I write all that to tell you that I am very interested in fighting the Hurricane in your Fight Nights card. It could be billed a STRIKER VS Grappler(wrestler-BJJ). PanAmSilver Vs Hurricane…GRUDGE MATCH. If you like. The reason being is that a few of the top reasons I want the fight to happen is because:
1) Iras complete disrespect of Submission fighting(Brazilian Jiu Jitsu).
2) Iras disrespect to my coach, school, myself and the Martial arts Community.
3) many more….

First, and foremost I can get down to 185 very quickly and 175 by December(maybe sooner). Iras good friend and manager, Chuck Williams has also challenged me and I accepted. If possible, Chuck would be the tune-up fight before IRA. Weight is of no importance to me in fighting Chuck. (Ira I believe was 178 when he first fought Kirk but he was on the juice then.) Please, get back to me as there is a lot of interest in making this fight happen.
