Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan To Be Honored By The Hawaii Martial Arts International Society.


March 1, 2003, It was announced today that wrestling legend Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea will be honored by the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society in Las Vegas , NV on July 12, 2003. He will be inducted in the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society’s prestigious “International Martial Arts Hall Of Fame”. “His contribution to sports entertainment is nothing less than amazing, his actions has opened doors for many people in wrestling and in the martial arts world. He has earned the title of “Pro Wrestling Icon” and has also earned his place in the HMAIS “International Martial Arts Hall of Fame”, We are honored to have him among our elite group” Stated HMAIS Chairman Professor Jaime Abregana Jr.

Hulk Hogan, good friend of Professor Jason Abregana, is among several well known martial artist, celebrities and sports entertainers that are being honored at the HMAIS Banquet. Each honoree is chosen from a sizeable group and then examined thoroughly by the Hall of Fame Committee before chosen.


Other well known inductees include UFC’s Dan “The Beast” Severn, Martial Arts action star TJ Storm of “Mortal Kombat” fame, Martial Arts action star and Gold Medalist Stephanie Cheeva of “Martial Law” and “VIP”, Action Star Suzzana Stefankovicova, 5 Time World Champion and movie personality Grandmaster Ron Van Clief founder of the “Chinese Goju System”, Founder of the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Grappling Association and former student of Bruce Lee Sifu Larry Hartsell, International Singer and celebrity Katiuska Hanohano of Elvis Fame, Grandmaster Frank Demaria head of the “American Center for Chinese Studies”, Martial Arts Legend Frank Sanchez, Master Michael Matsuda of the “Martial Arts History Museum”, Female Martial Arts Pioneer Dr. Gaudiosa Linda Ruby, and many others that will be honored at this extravaganza.


Also that evening Karate Kidz Online, the premiere martial arts website, will be presenting their sought after Teacher and Student of the year awards, these recipients will also be inducted in to the HMAIS “International Martial Arts Hall of Fame”, the recipients for teacher of the year are Professor Jaime Abregana Jr Chairman of the HMAIS, Professor Jody Perry founder of Perry’s Full Circle and Sifu Lamar Davis II founder of the World Combative Martial Arts Federation. The Students are Alexander Abregana and Jeremy Abregana of Hawaii, Rhett Mason Boatman of Texas, Rachael McKinney of Colorado, and Ryan Pinkston of Maryland and Star of “SPY KIDS 3-D: GAME OVER” to be released July 2003.
